DongHee X Tere 결혼식

When it's real, love knows no distance. There is no barrier between countries, time zones, or even languages that could keep two souls from being together. The Groom was from South Korea, the Bride is a Filipina who was based in Finland. He barely knew English, but luckily she had already learned some Korean.

It was a wedding coordinated from separate parts of the globe, but had not suffered in charm and exquisite simplicity. Details were lovingly handcrafted by the bride herself, such as the DIY pinwheels that had accented outfits, the church, and the reception venue. All were put together to make special an event that unified Faith and Family.

I truly enjoyed having the privilege to shoot this special event, ending my year 2014 right. Yep, that's right, this wedding took place on the morning of December 31!! Not usually a common date to schedule a wedding, but on the flipside, that just means that this pair got to start 2015 as husband and wife. And our team was glad to have been part of their very special day. Check out this fun and colorful DIY wedding shoot! Miso!

My husband and I had a particular vision for our wedding, and we were struggling to find the right venue, until we came across this place. I liked Chicago wedding venues, the manager and his team are second to none.
